sun, sea and.... aliens?!

Hey everyone! Hello and welcome back to countdown to Disneyland Paris! Today we are going to talk about one of my all time favorite movies! It’s called lilo and stitch! It’s a surprising down to earth story for something that features aliens! With the sisters lilo and nani both struggling in their own way with the loss of their parents. Nani tries to keep custody of lilo. And lilo struggling to make friends. Mean while stitch aka experiment 626 is being exiled to a distant astroid for being too destructive by the galactic counsel. While on the ship he escapes and ended up on earth! Doctor jumba jakiba (his creator) and plikli are sent to capture stitch!  Lilo sees stitch descending but thinks it’s shooting star! She wishes for a friend that wouldn’t runaway! Nani overhears this and decides to get lilo a dog! Meanwhile stitch exits the ship he had stolen and gets hit by a couple of trucks! The next day he wakes up inside an animal shelter! And is very angry that he doesn’t have his suit and weapons anymore! Lilo and nani  walk into the shelter. Lilo is trying to look at the dogs, but they are hiding from stitch! Stitch realizes that the only way he will be able to escape the shelter is by being adopted! He hides his sharp spikes, antennas and 2 extra arms to make himself more cute! He walks up to lilo and literately says hello to her! She decides to take him to Nani’s dismay! Will stitch be able to change his destructive behavior? Will he be able to stay with lilo and nani? Will lilo and nani stay together? Or will they be separated? You can find that out for yourself! Because the movie is on disney+! 

Now this film was one of the movies which was changed because of 9/11. The chase scene which in the Final Cut of the film takes place on the islands of Hawaii with a space ship first took place in a big city in an air plane they took! This scene was changed because of 9/11! This is also why jumba’s space ship has the shape of an airplane! There is also another deleted scene which was too graphic to be included! This scenes involves a fish named pudge. Pudge is a fish lilo believes predicts the weather! In this scene lilo introduces stitch to pudge! Stitch slaps pudge out of lilo’s hands! And pudge ended up being attacked by seagulls! Lilo screams for stitch to help as she tries to save pudge! But stitch just sits there and laughs at her! And pudge ended up dead. Lilo is obviously very upset with stitch! She buries pudge with her parents! Stitch finally understands that she is upset! This scene was just too shocking! And I do think that the removal/change of these scenes was for the best! Lilo and stitch is my favorite disney movie because I feel like I can relate to stitch! Because he is unique! And I’m unique too! I have autism and a gene defect that only 19 other people on the planet have! But even then I’m more unique because I have this defect on a different spot on the gene in question! And I’m the only one that has it on this spot! But I don’t think being unique is bad! I wouldn’t have been able to do the things I have been able to do! I wouldn’t have met the people I have met! And I’m very grateful that I have been able to those things and met the people I have met! That’s why I sometimes say that I feel like stitch! However I never mean this in a bad way! I’m such a fan of stitch that I even have a tattoo of him!
